MÜHLE R89 Safety Razor

This is the first time I use a safety razor. At first, I was scared I couldn’t handle it properly and might cut myself. However, it turns out that the razor is easier to use than I expected, I need to position my hand and the razor correctly, though. But that wasn’t difficult since I’ve been shaving for many years and I’m used to how to position my hand and razor.

Shaving with a safety razor still needs some practice, but it isn’t impossible to achieve perfection.

I was initially cautious about using the product given the risk of blade injury however after using it 4 times already I find that the closed comb head is made at the right angle for a perfect shave and if you use even light pressure you get a great shave each time. Product is well made, light and excellent quality. I was also impressed with the prompt service as my items arrived approx. 2 days after placing the order.
